Abstract:

The present invention relates to a thermal pellet type thermal fuse, comprising, in particular: a metallic cylindrical case (10); a first lead (L1) electrically connected to the case (10); a second lead (L2) installed in the case (10) so as to be insulated from the case (10) via an insulating bush (80) and having a fixed contact (L2a) at the inner tip of the case; a thermal pellet (30) softened or melted above a set fuse operating temperature; a ring-shaped fixed terminal (40) fixed to an inner wall (11) of the case (10) so as to be electrically connected to the case (10) and having a through hole (41) formed in the central axis direction thereof; a movable terminal (60) having a first tip (62) contacting the fixed contact (L2a) on the side of the second lead (L2), below the fuse operating temperature, and simultaneously forming a movable contact with the upper end of the inner wall of the through hole (41) of the fixed terminal (40); and a second spring (70) for applying a spring force to the movable terminal (60) such that a second tip (65) of the movable terminal (60) contacts the upper surface of the thermal pellet (30), wherein the movable terminal (60) has a movable contact piece (53) extending upward in a gradual slope in a radially outward direction along the circumferential direction from the lower end of the side of the second tip (65), and an outer surface of the movable contact piece (53) is in contact with the upper end of a wall surface of the through hole (41) of the fixed terminal (40) along the circumferential direction to form the movable contact.
