Abstract:
The present invention enables the achievement of a thermistor which uses, as a thermistor layer, a composite body comprising a plurality of particles that are formed of a metal oxide, and which achieves a high bonding strength between the thermistor layer and an electrode. A thermistor wherein a structure which comprises a thermistor layer and two electrodes is arranged on a base layer. With respect to this thermistor, the base layer contains a resin component; the thermistor layer is composed of a composite body which comprises a plurality of particles that are formed of a metal oxide that contains at least one first metal element, and an amorphous phase that is present among the plurality of particles, while containing a metal element that is same as the first metal element; the first metal element contains at least one of Mn and Ni; the two electrodes are formed of at least one second metal element that is selected from the group consisting of Cu, Al, Ag and Ni; and a bonding layer, which is obtained by diffusing the second metal element and the resin component into the composite body, is present between the two electrodes and the thermistor layer.
