Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic lightweight composite material and a preparation method therefor. The thermoplastic lightweight composite material includes at least two continuous fiber layers, each of which is composed of a continuous fiber impregnated with a thermoplastic resin; and at least one composite resin layer, which is hot-press molded between the two continuous fiber layers, and is composed of wood fibers impregnated with a thermoplastic resin, and chopped carbon fibers, wherein the two ends of the at least two continuous fiber layers and the at least one composite resin layer are bent to form a U-shaped structure. By means of using the thermoplastic lightweight composite material of the present invention and the preparation method therefor, a hot-press molded composite material can have a density that can reach 0.9-1.2 g/cm3, and have the properties of high strength and a high modulus, and the usage amounts of carbon fibers, glass fibers etc., can also be reduced, such that the cost is reduced.
