Abstract:
This three-dimensional data encoding method: specifies (S13801) a first three-dimensional point of which the position is expressed in a first polar coordinate system based on a first position and which is encoded; and specifies (S13802), for calculating a prediction value of a second distance from a second position of a second three-dimensional point of which the position is expressed in a second polar coordination system based on a second position and which is not encoded, (i) the distance between the first position and the second position, (ii) a first angle made by a first line connecting the first position and the second position and a second line connecting the first position and the first three-dimensional point, and (iii) a first distance from the first position of the first three-dimensional point in the first polar coordinate system.
