Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thumb joint structure for a robot hand, comprising: a power unit for causing a thumb part to perform a motion of a joint; a tendon unit; and a restoring wire unit, wherein the thumb joint structure may block an unnecessary operation of the power unit by using the tension of the restoring wire unit generated by the motion of the joint of the thumb part. A real grip of a human can be implemented through a physical configuration, and the configuration is simple such that it is easy to implement and inexpensive to manufacture the thumb joint structure for a robot hand.
