Abstract:
A timepiece case according to the present disclosure is made from ceramic. Further, the timepiece case is provided with a mating surface which opposes a lid member when mating with said lid member. Furthermore, in the mating surface, an arithmetic mean roughness Ra obtained from a roughness curve is at most equal to 0.6 μm, and a projection peak height Rpk obtained from the roughness curve is at most equal to 0.9 μm.
