Abstract:
Provided is a tipover prevention device with which it is possible to maintain a mounted state and prevent an object from tipping over in response to an earthquake, etc., in which the shaking direction is complex. The tipover prevention device is provided with a damper (10), and a pair of a first base part (30A) and a second base part (30B). The damper (10) is mounted between a ceiling (C) and the upper surface of furniture (F) placed on a floor surface. The first base part (30A) and second base part (30B) link each of the two end parts of the damper (10) so as to be capable of swinging in multiple directions. The first base part (30A) is in contact with the upper surface of the furniture (F) and the second base part (30B) is in contact with the ceiling (C).
