Abstract:
The invention addresses the problem of tightening a mold evenly and with good precision over long periods. This tire-curing press (1) is equipped with: a lower table (3L) on which the lower mold section (2L) is installed; an upper table (3U) on which the upper mold section (2U) is installed; a hoisting means (4), which supports the upper table to move up and down freely; and a mold-tightening means (5), which tightens the mold at the lowered position. The hoisting means is equipped with a clamping mechanism (19). The mold-tightening means is equipped with: a connecting implement (30), which has tie rods (32) that connect the upper and lower tables; and a pressurizing implement (31) that has a ring-shaped pressurizing plate (41), which is disposed to slide vertically inside a ring-shaped groove (40) that provides a recess on the lower table and on the upper surface of which the lower mold section is installed.
