Abstract:
Provided is a tire pressure detection system wherein there is little characteristic deterioration in high-temperature environments, e.g., characteristic deterioration in conditions such as the system being held for a long time in a high-temperature environment in a fully charged state, and a secondary cell having excellent low-temperature characteristics is used as a power source, whereby a system that can be operated in a stable manner for a long period of time is achieved. A tire pressure detection system 1 is provided with an air pressure detection device 10 for detecting air pressure in a tire, and a secondary cell 20 for supplying power to the air pressure detection device 10. The secondary cell 20 is a lithium secondary cell that has a lithium alloy as an active material and that is provided with a negative electrode and a positive electrode.
