Abstract:
Provided is a tire comprising a pair of beads, a pair of sidewalls, and a tread communicating with both sidewalls, the tread being divided into at least three sections in the tire width direction by a center part that includes the tire equatorial plane and a pair of shoulder parts that include the tread edges, wherein the tread rubber in the center part is vulcanized rubber with a rubber composition containing a rubber component including at least one type of modified styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber and at least 75 parts by mass of silica per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and additionally, ΔE'/E'4 is 0.900 or less, where ΔE' is the difference between the storage modulus E'0.1 of the tread rubber in the center part at 25°C and 0.1% strain and the storage modulus E'4 at 25°C and 4% strain. The tire exhibits excellent abrasion resistance and wet grip.
