Abstract:
This tire has a first circumferential main groove 11 and a second circumferential main groove 12 that are provided in a tread surface 1 thereof. An intermediate land section 20 that is partitioned between the first and second circumferential main grooves has a resonator 21 formed therein. The resonator has sub grooves 211, both ends of which terminate within the intermediate land section. The first and second circumferential main grooves each have a groove depth D1 that is not more than 50% of a groove width W2 of the respective first and second circumferential main grooves. The sub grooves of the resonator each have a groove width W3 that is not more than 80% of the groove depth D1 of the first circumferential main groove.
