A toaster. The toaster comprises a housing (1), a toaster container assembly (2), a sliding frame (4), a reset member, a first switch (7), a second switch (8), a third switch (9), an electromagnet (10), and a circuit board (11); the toaster container assembly (2) is disposed in the housing (1); the sliding frame (4) is slidably disposed in the housing (1), and a magnetic attraction member (5) is disposed on the sliding frame (4); the reset member is used for applying reset elastic force to the sliding frame (4); the first switch (7) and the second switch (8) are both disposed at the positions, corresponding to the sliding frame (4), in the housing (1), the first switch (7) and the second switch (8) are connected to the toaster container assembly (2) in series to form a return circuit, the first switch (7) is a normally-open switch, and the second switch (8) is a normally-closed switch; the third switch (9) is connected to the second switch (8) in parallel; the electromagnet (10) is disposed at the position, corresponding to the magnetic attraction member (5), in the housing (1); the circuit board (11) is electrically connected to the third switch (9) and the electromagnet (10), respectively. According to the toaster, when the sliding frame (4) cannot be reset due to faults, the toaster container assembly (2) can still be powered off, secondary protection is provided for the toaster, high safety is achieved, and the production cost is low.
