Description:
A TOILET BOWL HAVING SUPER THIN CHANNELS AND INCREASED WASHING SURFACE

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a toilet bowl which ensures that the maximum accessible area is cleaned effectively and, in a cost-efficient manner by acquiring gliding movement of water from top to downward on the whole washing surface forming the inner walls of its bowl.

The present invention particularly relates to a toilet bowl comprising at least one ring which is positioned for covering said bowl fully or partially on its upper circumference and forming at least one flush passage between upper circumference and the ring, multiple rim holes formed between said ring and the upper circumference and allowing the water coming from flush passage to glide towards the washing surface, and at least one directive baffle positioned in front of said water inlet and directing water towards the flush passage.

STATE OF THE ART

Currently, toilet bowls vary based on their washing methods for cleaning bowls. Toilet bowls should wash the bowl of the toilet with the water coming from the reservoirs such that they meet the specified standards. While fulfilling these standards, it must have hygienic and aesthetic structure, and at the same time prevent the waste of water.

In the state of the art, channels called as closed or open rings are used in order that water released from the water reservoir can clean the visible portions of the bowl. These channels direct the incoming water to the usage areas to ensure the cleaning of certain areas, but they cannot clean all surfaces. In addition, cleaning and hygiene of these areas cannot be provided since the channels form closed areas. Extra water is used to clean all areas and water waste cannot be prevented. The US patent document numbered US2016312454 titled "Water Closet" can be given as an example for cleaning of the toilet bowls.

AquaBlade technology of Ideal Standard can be given as an example for cleaning of the toilet bowls. AquaBlade technology is a strong flow of water that provides good washing performance even at low water volumes starting from the top of the toilet and gliding down when the toilet is flushed.

In conclusion, the need for a toilet bowl which ensures that the maximum accessible area is cleaned effectively and in a cost efficient manner by acquiring gliding movement of water from top to downward on the whole washing surface forming the inner walls of its bowl and the insufficiency of the existing solutions have made it essential to make an improvement in the related technical field.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a water-saving toilet bowl which meets the aforementioned requirements, eliminates the possible drawbacks, and brings along additional advantages.

The main object of the inventive water saving toilet bowl is that the aesthetics structure is maintained by using thin channels in closed style with increased surface area instead of open channels which are difficult to clean, and that water saving is provided.

Another object of the present invention is that; water is provided the gliding movement by use of thin channels, tab and limiting baffle. In this way, the flow of water has an aesthetic structure and homogeneously reaches every point. Therefore, the same cleaning work can be achieved by using the minimum amount of water. Cleaning according to hygiene rules is desired by the users, especially in toilet bowls in common use areas. While avoiding the waste of water in communal areas where toilets are used intensively also hygiene is required. In order to achieve the above-mentioned objectives in the most general way, a toilet bowl which ensures that the maximum accessible area is cleaned effectively and in a cost efficient manner by allowing the gliding movement of cleaning water coming from water inlet along the whole top circumference on the washing surface forming the inner walls of its bowl, wherein the water is discharged through discharge opening and then drain opening. The developed toilet bowl comprises at least one ring which is positioned for covering said bowl fully or partially on its upper circumference and forming at least one flush passage between upper circumference and the ring, multiple rim holes formed between the ring and the upper circumference and allowing the water coming from flush passage to glide towards the washing surface, and at least one directive baffle positioned in front of the water inlet and directing water towards the flush passage.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

A toilet bowl (10) which ensures that the maximum accessible area is cleaned effectively and in a cost efficient manner by allowing the gliding movement of cleaning water coming from water inlet (13) along the whole upper circumference (11a) on the washing surface (19) forming the inner walls of its bowl (11), wherein the water is discharged through discharge opening (21) and then drain opening (20). Waste of water and insufficient cleaning problems, which are among the disadvantages of the prior art, are eliminated in this way. Therefore the developed toilet bowl (10) mainly comprises; at least one ring (12) which is positioned for covering the bowl (11) fully or partially on its upper circumference (11a) and forming at least one flush passage (15) between upper circumference (11a) and it, multiple rim holes (18) formed between the ring (12) and the upper circumference (11a) and allowing the water coming from flush passage (15) to glide towards the washing surface (19), and at least one directive baffle (14) positioned in front of the water inlet (13) and directing water towards the flush passage (15). The total number of rim holes (18) is preferably 10. Figures 1 and 2 show side sectional views of the subject matter toilet bowl (10) respectively when the ring (12) is mounted and the ring (12) is demounted. The ring (12), which is designed separately from the bowl (11), is positioned so as to preferably cover the upper circumference (11a) of the bowl (11) completely and in this way, it joins with the bowl (11) to form the flush passage (15). By means of this structure, and when necessary, the water coming from the water inlet (13) is firstly passed through the formed flush passage opening (13a) and transferred to the flush passage (15). In the preferred embodiment, the flush passage opening (13a) is designed in an upright cylinder structure having an inlet diameter of 55 mm, a length varying between 25 mm and 30 mm and an outlet diameter of 45 mm. By this means, the water passing through the water inlet (13) is accelerated by the narrowing effect at the outlet.

The directive baffle (14), which directs the water towards the flush passage (15), is positioned invisibly in the flush passage opening (13a) and relatively has a triangular structure. After the water is directed to the flush passage (15) through the directive baffle (14) in the flush passage opening (13a), it travels inside the flush passage (15). There is a special design in here. In this design; as the toilet bowl (10) is illustrated from front sectional view when the ring (12) is mounted in Figure 3, there is at least one tab (16) formed such that it interrupts direct water flow between the upper circumference (11a) and the washing surface (19), and at least one limiting baffle (17) formed on the ring (12) such that it corresponds to the tab (16) and directing the water exceeding over the tab (16) towards the washing surface (19).

Figure 4 shows a close sectional view of the flush passage (15) portion. In the preferred embodiment, the rim holes (18) are positioned below the passage lower level (x). By this measure, the gliding movement of the water is further smoothened, and an aesthetic appearance is achieved. Furthermore, the tab (16) is at a lower level than the outer circumference (lib) of the bowl (11). Thus, it is ensured that the water flows one-way and only inwardly and does not slop out of the outer circumference (lib) and does not splash around.

When cleaning of the toilet bowl (10) starts, the clean water entering from the water inlet (13) firstly contacts to the directive baffle (14), then is directed to the flush passage (15) inside the ring (12) by being tangent to the bowl (11). The directive baffle (14) is hidden in the toilet (10) in such a manner that it does not disturb its aesthetic structure. The water filled into the flush passage (15) overflows over the tab (16) and hits the limiting baffle (17) and is glided through the rim holes (18) to the washing surface (19) on the bowl (11). Since the water gliding from the rim holes (18) flows over the washing surface (19), covering the entire area of use, on the bowl (11) in a thin line, both the cleaning of the toilet bowl (10) is completed hygienically and the water consumption is kept at low levels and saving is achieved. The rear portion (22) has an important place in the use of the bowl (11). In order to ensure the function fully, since the ring (12) part formed in the rear portion (22) is in a lower point of the bowl (11) it is ensured that the solid wastes come into contact with water more quickly and the function is realized faster.

The protection scope of this application is specified under claims and can definitely not be limited to those described with the aim of illustration, it is clear that a person skilled in the art can provide the novelty provided in the invention by using similar configurations and/or can implement this configuration in other similar intended areas used in the related art. Therefore, it is obvious that such embodiments will be devoid of novelty and especially the criteria of surpassing the state of the art.
