Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a toilet for microgravity space with which it is possible to limit electric power usage for recirculating air, using a simple configuration for a toilet bowl. A simple toilet device 10 is provided with: a recovery container 100 provided with a substantially cylindrically shaped attachment portion 102 provided with openings in both end portions, and an accommodating portion 104 which is connected to the attachment portion 102 and which is capable of accommodating excrement; an inflow portion 120 which is attached to an outer peripheral portion on the attachment portion 102 side of the accommodating portion 104, inclined toward the radially outer side and the attachment portion 102 side of the accommodating portion 104, and which is formed substantially in a tubular shape having openings that are open, in both end portions thereof, and which causes air to flow into the recovery container 100 in such a way as to swirl in a spiral shape on an inner circumferential surface of the recovery container 100, from a toilet seat portion 84 side toward a bottom portion side; an outflow portion 122 attached in an inclined manner to the outer peripheral portion of the recovery container 100; and a circulation means 60 which is provided with a circulation means 64 and the two ends of which are connected to the inflow portion 120 and the outflow portion 122 respectively.
