CLAIMS
1. A toilet seat with quick fitting and removal and magneticeffect selfpositioning, characterized in that: it provides, on the lower part, at least one interlocking point (7) which protrudes and/or is recessed and/or embedded in the mass of the material that constitutes said seat, for interlocking with a corresponding coupling point (6) formed on the upper part of the toilet bowl (1) (rear side) so as to prevent the horizontal movement of said seat during use; the direction of said coupling between the parts (6) and (7) of the malefemale and/or femalemale type is vertical and/or oblique with any orientation; at the same time, a magnet or magnetic or paramagnetic materials are used in the lower part of the toilet seat (1) or of the corresponding end support (4), the coupling receptacle (7), proximate to the coupling points and/or likewise in the corresponding fixed receptacle (6) of the upper surface of the toilet bowl (1), and are suitable to give said two parts a mutual attraction in order to maintain in position the coupling by simple interlocking and accordingly the stability of the seat with respect to the toilet. The coupling of the receptacle (7) of the toilet seat with the respective fixed receptacle (6) on the upper surface of the bowl occurs simply by moving the receptacle of the seat toward the fixed receptacle. The action is facilitated by the attraction generated by the magnet or magnets. The separation of the seat from the upper surface of the bowl occurs by means of an upward force applied to the seat (greater than the sum of the attraction force generated by the magnet and by the weight force of the seat), or by means of a mechanical lever action in order to overcome said forces.
2. The toilet seat with quick fitting and removal according to claim 1, characterized in that it has at least one point provided with a magnet (7) or magnetic material that generates attraction force toward magnetic or paramagnetic materials that are arranged in a fixed position (6) at the upper surface of the bowls of toilets (1).
3. The toilet seat with quick fitting and removal according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has at least one point provided with a magnet which is external (7) and/or in a recessed receptacle and/or embedded within the mass of the material that constitutes said seat.
4. The toilet seat with quick fitting and removal according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is coordinated with the toilet bowl and cooperates therewith, said bowl being in fact required to have, on its upper surface, in addition to the receptacles for receiving or coupling the seat, also one or more points provided with a magnet or magnetic material that generates an attraction to magnetic or paramagnetic materials that are arranged in a fixed position (6) at the lower point or points of the seat.
5. The toilet seat with quick fitting and removal according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is selflocking in position on the upper surface of the toilet solely by virtue of the magnetic attraction force of the components (magnet and/or plates of ferromagnetic metal) distributed so as to mutually match on the seat and/or simultaneously on the upper surface of the toilet and/or embedded in the mass of the material that constitutes the toilet bowl.
6. The toilet seat with quick fitting and removal according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that no systems for locking with wrenches or other tools are used for said mutual approach or spacing of the parts of the seat with respect to the bowl and for keeping them in position.
7. The toilet seat with quick fitting and removal according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the magnets or paramagnetic materials are located on said toilet seat and respectively on the base support that is fixed on the toilet bowl in order to perform the attraction effect of said parts and are arranged and act along one or more directions or spatial orientations.
8. A toilet seat with quick fitting and removal and magneticeffect selfpositioning, characterized by: at least one interconnecting part (7) formed at the toilet seat; and at least one corresponding coupling part (6) formed at the upper part of a toilet bowl (1), the at least one interconnecting part (7) and the at least one corresponding coupling part (6) being arranged and adapted to provide for magnetic coupling therebetween so as to prevent the horizontal movement of said seat during use and such that the direction of coupling between the parts (6) and (7) is vertical and/or oblique with any orientation.
Description:
TOILET SEAT WITH QUICK FITTING AND REMOVAL Technical Field The present invention relates to a toilet seat with quick fitting and removal from the bowl, with magnetic-effect self- positioning. The invention provides for the application to the toilet body of at least one element that is suitable to couple to another element provided on the seat ring or seat lid, said elements having the characteristic and the properties of being magnetic and/or paramagnetic in order to facilitate their mutual self-positioning and locking, and at the same time rapidly favor and facilitate the separation of the toilet seat from the bowl for cleaning and sanitizing operations.

Background art In the current art, toilet seats, i. e. , the seat ring with rotating lid, are locked to the toilet body during installation by anchoring through the two symmetrical rear through holes where the two supporting and/or hinge points for the full upward rotation of the ring and of the lid are engaged usually by fixing by means of screws; in turn, the lid is provided with a hinge of its own that is fixed to the ring. The fixing of the toilet seat assembly is of the stable type, i. e. , once it has been fixed it cannot be removed completely except by loosening, by means of appropriate wrenches and tools, the coupling points and/or the hinge points of the seat ring. These operations are rather complicated and therefore the operator must be at least an installer.

Accordingly, the toilet is cleaned while the seat ring and the cover are installed and this makes it complicated to provide perfect sanitization of the parts involved. It is in fact not possible to clean completely both the toilet and the seat ring joined to the lid, since the points for pivoting with respect to the toilet body are areas that cannot be accessed by cloths and sponges of various kinds. Moreover, the powders or liquids used for cleaning, as well as the dirt, remain trapped by capillary action and even in view in recesses that cannot be accessed.

Such points are potentially regions where infections can be generated.

The drawbacks in terms of hygiene and health arising from toilet seat that cannot be disassembled easily are evident from the above description.

Summary of the invention The aim of the invention is to: -- allow easy removal and fitting of the ring and lid assembly of the toilet seat with respect to the toilet body; -- facilitate the cleaning, maintenance and sanitization or optional separate sterilization of the toilet and of the ring and lid assembly.

Key aspects of the invention This aim is achieved according to the characteristics of the main claim by using a toilet seat, seat ring and lid that can be opened by rotation and has at least one interlocking coupling of the male-female type and/or female-male type associated with the use of the magnetic and/or paramagnetic properties applied to the parts that are mutually coupled or closer to them in order to keep the parts involved in their exact positions. The coupling parts of the toilet seat, in cooperation and coordination, with the parts fixed on the toilet body are joined and kept in position by virtue of the attraction of the respective magnetic parts, which are positioned appropriately on a single element and/or on both of the coupling elements.

Such a technical solution provides, in a simple manner, the removal and fitting of the seat ring with the lid with respect to the toilet body. In this manner it is possible to facilitate the release of the coupling and therefore facilitate the cleaning also of the coupling receptacles on the toilet and on the ring-lid and subsequently their repositioning without the aid of tools or appropriate locking wrenches.

This leads to another advantage, i. e. , the possibility to clean and/or sterilize the seat ring with the lid separately from the toilet body by virtue of a suitable device or electrical appliance provided for this purpose.

The present invention therefore uses the two rear through holes provided on the bowls of currently known toilets to fix stably or even in a manner that allows easy removal (without the aid of wrenches or tools) at least one fixed coupling point provided with a magnet or paramagnetic material or a device that uses this property and is suitable for the purpose. On the ring- lid assembly, instead, in the corresponding coupling region, there is at least one receptacle for coupling to the respective point or element fixed to the toilet body. The coupling receptacle on the toilet seat or part thereof uses a magnet or other paramagnetic material suitable for the purpose in order to be able to mutually attract the parts. In this manner, the toilet seat can be interlocked easily with the corresponding fixed coupling element on the toilet, which is also guided by the magnet effect between the parts, and can be just as easily removed and detached completely with a simple lever action of the toilet seat on the element that is fixed on the toilet in order to better clean the parts separately.

The toilet seat is removed and repositioned simply, without the aid of tools or wrenches, by virtue of the use of magnetic elements (magnets) arranged on both of the elements involved or simply on any one of the two elements, in which case on the other element there is a paramagnetic metal plate suitable to be attracted by said magnet.

Brief description of the drawings The solution of the present invention will become better apparent by means of the description of a preferred embodiment, with the aid of two accompanying drawings, whose details of execution are to be understood as non-limitative and merely exemplifying: Figure 1 is a partially sectional side view of the toilet bowl with the ring and the lid anchored in a horizontal position; Figure 2 is a plan view of the toilet bowl of Figure 1 without the toilet seat, illustrating the two points for coupling to the respective parts of the toilet seat of the magnetic type; Figure 3 is a partially sectional rear view of the region for the coupling of the magnetic points of the base and of the toilet seat; Figure 4 is a side view of a toilet with the toilet seat in the horizontal raised position, illustrating the two magnetic- type coupling elements provided on the toilet body (upper and rear part) and on the toilet seat body (rear lower part); Figure 5 is a perspective view of the toilet of Figure 4, with the toilet seat lifted from the bowl edge, with the seat ring arranged horizontally and the lid rotated in an oblique position.

With reference to the figures, the toilet seat with quick fitting and removal and with self-positioning by magnetic property and effect comprises an ordinary toilet seat, which is composed of a seat ring (2) and a seat lid (3) which can be rotated upward, and has, in the rear part (4), a hinge (5) for connection to the ring and/or lid. In the lower part of the support (4) there are one or more coupling receptacles (7) that can be interlocked with the respective and mutual regions fixed on the upper and rear part of the bowl. The type of male-female or female-male coupling can be provided according to various technical solutions, although the type that allows the separation of the parts in a vertical direction is preferable.

Usually, ceramic toilet bowls (1) have on their upper surface, rear side, two vertical and symmetrical through holes that have various center distances depending on the manufacturer. The coupling receptacles (6) are fixed in said holes by virtue of appropriate tension elements (8), which can be of the single type, i. e. , one support per hole, or a single base that is connected to the two holes. Said base support (6), in addition to being provided with the receptacles for interlocking coupling with the respective receptacles (7) of the toilet seat, have magnetic properties, which characterize the coupling receptacles fixed to the lower part of the toilet seat.

Said magnetic properties can be provided by using magnets or equivalent systems known to the person skilled in the art which have the same result (i. e. , the use of at least one magnet on one support and of a paramagnetic metal that is sensitive to the attraction of the magnet on the corresponding point on the other element of the toilet seat, or the provision of a suitable magnet on both elements to be connected in order to increase said force).

To conclude, the toilet seat (1), which comprises the ring (2) and the lid (3), is positioned simply by placing it over the bowl so that the rear/lower points are attracted (magnetic action) by the fixed and/or magnetic interlocking points provided on said toilet and are coupled thereto in order to maintain said position for the correct purpose thereof. An opposite action is used for the complete separation of the

toilet seat from the supporting base, i. e. , the application of a mechanical lever action by acting on said toilet seat and overcoming the attraction generated by the magnet or magnets.
