Abstract:
Provided is a tool of high operability used when manipulating a plurality of cells. A tool 1 according to the present invention comprises a plate body 2 having a well 8 and is used when manipulating cells, wherein the well 8 has a bottom portion 8A and a curved inner peripheral wall 8B formed so as to be connected to the bottom portion 8A, a plurality of protruding portions 13 for dividing the bottom portion 8A and the inner peripheral wall 8B into a plurality of sections are provided along the bottom portion 8A and the inner peripheral wall 8B, and a bulging portion 13A is formed from the protruding portions 13 throughout the bottom portion 8A, thereby forming recess portions 13A on the divided bottom portions 8A, so that cells settle in the recess portions 13A.
