Abstract:
A tooth scanning method and apparatus, a computer device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The tooth scanning method comprises: obtaining a tooth coarse mesh three-dimensional model (S102); inputting the tooth coarse mesh three-dimensional model into an identification model to obtain dental identification data (S104); separating and extracting, according to the dental identification data, first coarse mesh data corresponding to a scanning rod region in the tooth coarse mesh three-dimensional model (S106); obtaining second coarse mesh data corresponding to regions other than the scanning rod region in the tooth coarse mesh three-dimensional model (S108); and generating a first fine mesh and a second fine mesh according to the first coarse mesh data and the second coarse mesh data, and then merging the first and second fine meshes to generate an overall multi-resolution mesh model (S110). By respectively fusing the coarse mesh data outside the scanning rod region in the tooth coarse mesh three-dimensional model and the coarse mesh data in the scanning rod region in the tooth coarse mesh three-dimensional model, the problem of balance between model detail preservation and overall fusion efficiency is solved.
