Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a tooth whitening method by which teeth can be effectively whitened without damaging the teeth and a positive effect is also expected in an oral environment. A tooth whitening method according to the present invention is characterized by including the following steps [1]-[4] of: [1] applying the saliva of a subject to the inside of a mouthpiece that can be attached to a portion of the teeth and gums in the oral cavity; [2] spraying lactobacillus granules onto the saliva applied to the inside of the mouthpiece, or mixing a lactobacillus agent with the saliva; [3] attaching the mouthpiece to the teeth and gums of the subject; and [4] closing the lips and maintaining that state for at least several hours.
