Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush that is inexpensive, has excellent storability, can be used without excessive concern for other people's reactions, and can handle the removal of food residue stuck between teeth. A tooth brush (1) includes a handle (2) comprising a head section (3) and a handle section (4) provided on a rear end side of the head section (3), a bristle bundle being implanted in each of a plurality of implantation holes (10) formed in an implantation surface (3a), wherein: an overall length of the handle body (2) is from 50 mm to 80 mm; a ratio of a length of the head section (3) to the overall length of the handle body (2) is from 5% to 25%; a bristle length, from the implantation surface (3a), of the hairs forming the bristle bundles is 7.0 mm or less; and bristle flexibility and strength of an actual length of the bristle bundles is from 70 N/cm2 to 140 N/cm2.
