Abstract:
The present invention relates to an improvement to a dental handpiece, and, more particularly, the invention: is constituted with a storage chamber constituted with a rotational shaft projecting at the tip of the main body of a dental handpiece; is constituted with a Hall sensor able to detect a signal of a magnetic field in the floor of the storage chamber; is constituted such that a housing is provided coupled in a freely rotatable fashion inside the storage chamber and, inside the housing, a rotatably movable body and a rising-and-falling movable body are constituted in an assembly so as to achieve axial coupling with the projecting rotational shaft in a working chamber in such a way as to allow these elements to rotate together; is constituted such that the rotational angle of the rotatably movable body is changed within the housing by the extent of the coefficient of the elasticity of a spring; and a plurality of magnets are provided at equal intervals on the rising-and-falling movable body so as to approach the Hall sensor constituted in the storage chamber while rising and falling inside the housing in accordance with changes in the rotational angle of the rotatably movable body, and the torque value can be detected in accordance with the distance between the magnets and the Hall sensor.
