Abstract:
A torque converter (100) is provided with a torque converter body (2) and a dynamo-electric machine (3). The torque converter body (2) has a front cover (21), an impeller (22), and a turbine (23). The dynamo-electric machine (3) has a stator (31) and a rotor (32). The axis of rotation of the rotor (32) is aligned with the center axis of the output shaft of an engine. The outer shell of the torque converter body (2) is formed from a non-magnetic material.
