Abstract:
A torque-fluctuation suppression device for a rotating member, wherein it is possible to reduce the required installation space in the axial direction, and suppress the peak in torque fluctuations across a comparatively broad rotation speed range. To this end, this device is equipped with an inertia ring (20), a centrifugal element (21), and a cam mechanism (22). The inertia ring (20) is capable of rotating along with an output-side rotating body (12), and is positioned so as to also be capable of rotating relative to the output-side rotating body (12). The centrifugal element (21) is positioned so as to receive centrifugal force caused by the rotations of the output-side rotating body (12) and the inertia ring (20). The cam mechanism (22) converts the centrifugal force into a circumferential-direction force in the direction that decreases relative displacement, when centrifugal force acts on the centrifugal element (21), the output-side rotating element (12) and the inertia ring (20) are rotating, and relative displacement in the direction of rotation occurs between the output-side rotating body (12) and the inertia ring (20).
