Abstract:
[Problem] To provide, as a torque limiter to be used in a constant-torque electric screwdriver or the like, a torque limiter for constant-torque electric screwdrivers or the like such that the set torque (hysteresis torque) of the torque limiter during required screw tightening operations or the like can be simply and easily adjusted or regulated without having to disassemble the torque limiter. [Solution] A torque limiter comprises a driving-side rotary body (10) and a driven-side rotary body (20) and is provided with a cylindrical permanent magnet (14) mutually coupled magnetically to each of the rotary bodies and a magnetic body (24) that is disposed to face the outer circumference of the permanent magnet. The torque limiter is configured to be provided with a covering member (26) that can be detached and that is made of a magnetic material so as to be able to partially surround the outer circumference of the magnetic body.
