Abstract:
The objective is to enable a small-ball torsion spring and a large-ball spring ratio to be determined easily when designing a torque rod having a flat transmission characteristic of less than 100 N/mm for transmission from the large-ball part to the vehicle. [Constitution] A torque rod is equipped with a small-ball part (20) connected to an engine (12), a large-ball part (30) connected to a vehicle body (14), and a rod part (40) connecting the small-ball part (20) and the large-ball part (30). The large-ball part (30) is equipped with an outside member (31) connected to the rod part (40), an inside member (32) connected to the vehicle body (14), and a large-ball elastic member (33) connecting the outside member and the inside member. A transmission characteristic map is obtained in advance by mapping the transmission characteristics of the torque rod determined using the rod length, a small-ball torsion spring, a large-ball spring, and the large-ball spring ratio as parameters, and from this map a combination of parameters for which the transmission characteristic is less than 100 N/mm is selected.
