Abstract:
Provided is a touch sensor which is used for input operations of various electronic devices, and includes a tail part having a terminal protection layer that enables good insertion and removal into and from a circuit board without a defect that can easily occur in the terminal protection layer provided in a terminal portion at a distal end of the tail part. The touch sensor 1, in which a plurality of sensor electrodes 12 and a wiring 13 are formed on a single base film 11, comprises: a main body part A that has an operation surface A3 in which the plurality of sensor electrodes 12 are provided in a deformed portion A2 formed three-dimensionally from a surrounding flat portion A1; and a tail part B having a terminal portion B2 for connecting the wiring 13 to a circuit board and protruding from the main body part A, wherein the terminal portion B2 has a terminal protection layer 15 that protects the wiring 13, and the thickness t1 of the base film 11 within the range T1 of the terminal portion B2 is the maximum thickness in the entire base film 11.
