Title:
TOUCH SENSOR AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/073321
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To use a simple configuration and compensate for variation in the frequency characteristics of a vibration element attached to a touch panel. [Solution] A touch sensor (39) comprising a touch panel (7), a first vibration element (9A) and a second vibration element (9B), and an element drive unit (37). The first vibration element (9A) and the second vibration element (9B) are attached to the touch panel (7). The element drive unit (37) causes the first vibration element (9A) and the second vibration element (9B) to vibrate, using a drive signal if the touch panel (7) is operated. By causing the first vibration element (9A) to vibrate and obtaining a detection signal from the second vibration element (9B), the element drive unit (37) searches for a resonance frequency for causing the first vibration element (9A) and the second vibration element (9B) to vibrate, and determines a frequency for the drive signal.
