Abstract:
Provided is a towel cloth having bulk and fluffy hand, said towel cloth undergoing minimal change in hand or loss of nap during laundering while having excellent water-shedding properties, drying rapidly after washing, and being moisture absorbent. In this towel cloth, the pile yarn is engaged with the base yarn, the pile yarn being constituted from a finely spun twisted yarn comprising a non-crimpable polyester multifilament yarn and a plant-based fiber.
