Abstract:

Provided is a configuration for transmitting to and displaying on the onboard side the camera images and position (position ID) of an obstacle or hindrance captured by monitoring cameras, in cases where it is possible to detect the obstacle or hindrance on the ground side on the basis of the camera images and sensor data obtained from the monitoring cameras and sensors installed along the track where a train is traveling, especially installed in places that are out of sight from the driver.　A ground-based device collects the camera images captured by the monitoring cameras installed in places with poor visibility (curves, platforms, railroad crossings, etc.) on the ground-based device side and transmits the collected camera images to an onboard device along with positional information (position ID), and the onboard device receives and displays the camera images and positional information transmitted from the ground-based device.
