Abstract:

A transducer according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) transducer including an HIFU radiation unit for radiating ultrasonic waves for treatment; and an image transducer installed adjacently to the HIFU transducer, for radiating ultrasonic waves for image acquisition, wherein the HIFU radiation unit may have a parabolic shape, and may include a plurality of depressed portions formed on an inner peripheral surface thereof, for extinguishing the ultrasonic waves for treatment or the ultrasonic waves for image acquisition, which return to the HIFU radiation unit.
