Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains to a transmission device, a transmission method, a reception device, and a reception method with which it is possible to improve confidentiality and communication reliability in low power wide area (LPWA) communication. The transmission device generates a key stream on the basis of GPS time information, encrypts transmission data on the basis of the key stream, generates encrypted data, and transmits the generated data to the reception device. The reception device generates a key stream on the basis of GPS time information and decrypts the encrypted data into the transmission data on the basis of the key stream. The present disclosure can be applied, for example, to a LPWA communication system.
