Abstract:
When an upshift speed change is instructed in the state where a torque acts from an engine on the input shaft of an automatic transmission, a torque phase is executed (at S130) by causing, for a standby, a torque phase execution pressure (Ptor) to act on a clutch or brake to be turned ON. When the torque phase is completed, an inertia phase is started to change a gear stage (at S140 and S150), by a torque-down of the engine standing by in the torque phase execution pressure (Ptor). As compared with the constitution in which the inertia phase is executed by boosting the oil pressure which is to act on the clutch or brake to be turned ON, the gear stage can be quickly changed while a shifting shock being suppressed.
