Abstract:

A transparent plastic film having a hard coat layer on one surface thereof which, in a tensile test under the conditions wherein test temperature is 22°C, one side of a specimen is fixed, and speed of testing rate of stressing is 20 mm/min, causes no cracks in the hard coat layer in the region satisfying y < 5.7 for x $m(F) 100, y < -0.018 x + 7.5 for 100 $m(F) x $m(F) 150, y < -0.008 x + 6.0 for 150 $m(F) x $m(F) 200, y < -0.005 x + 5.4 for 200 $m(F) x $m(F) 300, y < -0.003 x + 4.8 for 300 $m(F) x $m(F) 400, y < -0.002 x + 4.4 for 400 $m(F) x $m(F) 500, y < 3.4 for x $m(G) 500, wherein x represents a thickness ($g(m)m) of a base film of the plastic film and y represents elongation (%) of the plastic film in the above tensile test. The transparent plastic film can be used for manufacturing by means of injection molding a plastic molded article having a hard coat layer on the surface thereof which is free of the occurrence of cracks in the hard coat layer after molding.
