Abstract:
A transparent rear projection screen (10) and a projection system (100). The transparent rear projection screen (10) comprises an optically transmissive layer (1) made of a transparent material and multiple diffusion layers (2) provided in the optically transmissive layer (1) and spaced apart from one another. The optically transmissive layer (1) comprises a projection surface (11) and a viewing surface (12) arranged opposite to the projection surface (11). The diffusion layers (2) are configured inclined downwardly from the projection surface (11) to the viewing surface (12). Incident light (3) enters the diffusion layers (2) via the projection surface (11). An angle at which the incident light (3) is to exit is changed after the incident light has been scattered by the diffusion layers (3), and then the incident light exits via the viewing surface (12). Compared with the prior art, when no incident light (3) enters the transparent rear projection screen (10) and the projection system (100), the transparent rear projection screen (10) is transparent to a viewer.
