A transport device comprising: a contactless transport unit that jets air from a jetting surface formed in a substantially arcuate shape along a transport path to cause a substrate to float above the jetting surface, thereby transporting the substrate in a contactless state while changing the direction of transport; and a receiving member that is provided to a position in the jetting surface that corresponds to a region including at least the apex of a transport-direction switching portion.
