Abstract:
A transportation system and method for a blast furnace shell. The transportation system comprises a material receiving platform (11) disposed outside a casting house and a furnace body surrounding frame (12) disposed at the periphery of the center of a casting house furnace body frame, wherein a primary sliding track (13) is disposed on the material receiving platform (11) and a casting house platform, a sliding truss (14) is disposed on the primary sliding track (13), a secondary sliding track (15) is disposed above the sliding truss (14) and the furnace body surrounding frame (12), the extending direction of the primary sliding track (13) is intersected with the extending direction of the secondary sliding track (15), a sliding vehicle (16) is disposed on the sliding truss (14), and the sliding vehicle (16) transports the furnace shell (10) from the material receiving platform (11) to a mounting position on the secondary sliding track (15) through the primary sliding track (13). The system has the advantages of low construction cost and high safety.
