The present invention relates to the technical field of environmental protection apparatuses, and in particular to a trap-type sludge in-situ treatment device and method. The trap-type sludge in-situ treatment device is characterized in that same comprises a trap pipe, a water retaining pipe and a heating device, wherein the trap pipe is configured to be placed in a lake bed or a riverbed, and a trap cavity used for storing sludge is formed inside the trap pipe; an upper end of the water retaining pipe is higher than the surface of the water, and a lower end of the water retaining pipe is abutted against an upper end of the trap pipe to prevent river water from entering the trap cavity; and the heating device is used for heating and drying the sludge in the trap cavity of the trap pipe. By means of the solution, the sludge is dried and dewatered in situ, such that secondary environmental pollution of cleared sludge is reduced. In addition, by means of the solution, the sludge can be concentrated in the trap pipe for water isolation treatment by using natural factors such as lake flow, and disturbance to benthic habitats is small, the influence range is small, and damage to ecology at the bottom of the water is small.
