Abstract:

A travelator, moving ramp or escalator for transporting passengers, comprising a conveyor (1) and a frame (2) supported on a fixed structure, on which frame the conveyor is mounted. The frame (2) comprises a number of mutually identical profiled metallic bodies (3) joined together end to end one after the other and containing coupling, supporting and/or guide elements integrated in the said one profiled metallic body of solid material.
