Abstract:
This traveling device comprises: a movable part which is disposed to be capable of travel along a travel path; a drive part which is disposed on the movable part and which causes the movable part to travel using either power which is supplied from an external source by non-contact power transmission or power which is supplied from a battery which is installed on the movable part; and a switch device which is disposed on the movable part and which switches between a grounding state of making contact with a fixed part on the travel path side so that the movable part is electrically grounded and a non-grounding state of not making contact with the fixed part so that the movable part is not electrically grounded.
