A traveling vehicle system (10), wherein, in a shared region (12B): when a first traveling vehicle (7A) is positioned in a first position (P1), a first detected part (35A, 35B) is arranged in a position detectable by a first detection unit (85A, 85B), and a second detected part (36A, 36B) is arranged at a position undetectable by the first detection unit (85A, 85B); and when a second traveling vehicle (7B) is positioned at a second position (P2), the second detected part (36A, 36B) is arranged at a position detectable by a second detection unit (87A, 87B), and the first detected part (35A, 35B) is arranged at a position undetectable by the second detection unit (87A, 87B).
