Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a treatment assistance device, a treatment assistance method, and a computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a treatment assistance program, that allow the accuracy of treatment using an endoscope to be improved by identifying a target site image. [Solution] This treatment assistance device 1 comprises: a feature amount calculation means 2 that calculates, from a human body interior image captured using an endoscope, a feature amount for a target site image corresponding to a target site; a similarity calculation means 3 that calculates the similarity of feature amounts between different human body interior images; and an identification means 4 that identifies the respective target site images from the different human body interior images, when the similarity is equal to a predetermined value or greater.
