Abstract:
Provided is a trigger switch for use in electric devices such as various types of electric tools, the trigger switch driving a driving unit, such as the driving motor of an electric device, by the pressing of a trigger, wherein the driving unit can operate in various driving modes. A trigger switch 1 is provided with a mode switching lever 13 for switching between a constant speed mode in which the driving unit is driven at a constant speed, and a shift mode in which the driving unit is driven by an output corresponding to the press-in amount of a trigger 10. Moreover, the mode switching lever 13 is provided with a regulation unit that regulates the amount that the trigger 10 can be pressed, depending on the selected mode.
