Abstract:
In this truss support device for a passenger conveyor, a pair of displacement restricting members are fixed to a support member on which an end of a truss is placed. The displacement restricting members each have a base portion and a projection portion projecting from a part of a side surface of the base portion. When the support member is viewed from the above, the projection portion corresponds to a reference end portion positioned on a set straight line which is set on the upper surface of the support member. The pair of displacement restricting members are fixed onto the upper surface of the support member while the reference end portions thereof face directions opposite to each other along the set straight line. The end of the truss is provided with a pair of contact surfaces opposed to the corresponding reference end portions. A gap exists at least between the reference end portion of one of the displacement restricting members and a corresponding one of the contact surfaces, or between the reference end portion of the other displacement restricting member and the other contact surface.
