Abstract:
[Problem] There are many cases where a motor vehicle occupant gets trapped in the vehicle and gets drown when the vehicle is hit by a flood disaster like tsunami. The present invention addresses the problem of providing a contraption to help escape such a tsunami flood disaster by taking a limited set of actions. [Solution] By installing a chair-shaped hazard prevention floater to a seat of a motor vehicle, if the vehicle is hit by a tsunami disaster and an occupant of the motor vehicle puts the hazard prevention floater on and exits the vehicle, a blow-up-type floating body provided to the hazard prevention floater expands upon detection of water and thereby enables the occupant to stay afloat above the surface of the flooding water and hence escape from drowning.
