Abstract:

A tube making apparatus (1) is provided with: a frame (2) that can be separated into a plurality of portions; a drive unit (4) that pinches a leading portion and a trailing portion of a band-like member (100) in a joined manner, and that transmits motive power to the band-like member (100); an introduction unit (5) that pinches the band-like member (100) in a helically arranged manner; and a guide member (6) for the band-like member (100). The introduction unit (5) includes a roller portion that does not transmit the motive power to at least the trailing portion of the band-like member (100). The drive unit (4) and the introduction unit (5) are disposed at positions higher than a horizontal plane including the shaft center of the frame (2).
