This turbine blade comprises: a blade part which has a hollow part extending along a blade height direction, and in which is formed a plurality of film-cooling holes aligned along the blade height direction; and an insert which is provided inside the hollow part along the blade height direction, and in which a plurality of impingement cooling holes is formed. The insert includes a high-density opening area in which the opening density of the impingement cooling holes is higher than in the rest of the surface area of the insert, a shape center of the high-density opening area is positioned on a negative-pressure-surface side of the blade part in the front edge-rear edge direction, the shape center of the high-density opening area is positioned farther radially outward than a center position of the blade part in the blade height direction, and the plurality of film-cooling holes include a plurality of upstream-side film-cooling holes provided in a position corresponding to the high-density opening area or toward the front edge side from said position on the negative pressure surface of the blade part.
