Abstract:
Disclosed is a TV lighting control device and method for eye protection. The TV lighting control device for eye protection comprises: a sensor module for sensing information on light emitted from a TV screen, including the intensity and color space of the light emitted from the TV screen, in real time, and sensing the illuminance around the TV; a lighting control module for controlling TV lighting according to the information on the light emitted from the TV screen and the illuminance around the TV, sensed by the sensor module; a plurality of eye protection lighting units which are installed in the rear portion of the TV at regular intervals, and are controlled by the lighting control module in terms of the detailed lighting information thereof including irradiation time, brightness, light temperature, and light quantity; and a mood lamp which is controlled in terms of the detailed lighting information thereof including illumination color, irradiation time, illuminance, and color space information, according to the information on the light emitted from the TV screen, sensed by the sensor module.
