Abstract:

A two-dimensional bosk constraint-based encoding and decoding method and device, relating to the field of data storage and data communication. The encoding method comprises: caching one-dimensional data stream, and dividing the one-dimensional data stream into several sets of one-dimensional 2-bit data; and according to an encoding table, an encoder encodes each set of 2-bit data into 3*2 two-dimensional codewords one by one, and then concatenates all the two-dimensional codewords into a two-dimensional constraint array according to a specified order. The decoding method comprises: a decoder reads the two-dimensional constraint array and divides same into several 3*2 two-dimensional codewords, decodes each two-dimensional codeword into one-dimensional 2-bit data one by one by means of a decoding table, and then sequentially assembles the generated one-dimensional 2-bit data into one-dimensional data stream and outputs the one-dimensional data stream. The two-dimensional bosk constraint refers to that in a binary data array consisting of data "0" and "1", two "1" cannot be directly adjacent in horizontal, vertical, northeast and southeast directions.
