Abstract:
Provided is a two-dimensional code generation method for generating a plurality of associated two-dimensional codes which have been mutually associated, said method characterized by: generating each of the plurality of associated two-dimensional codes by multiple repetitions of a generation step which involves deriving a private data code word, deriving a pre-substitution code block comprising a public data code word and an error correction code word, deriving a post-substitution code block wherein the private code word has been concealed by substituting a portion of the pre-substitution code block with the private data code word, and generating an associated two-dimensional code on the basis of the post-substitution data block; and, when deriving the private data code word in each of the generation steps, causing associated code information to be included in the private data code word, said associated code information being capable of indicating that the plurality of associated two-dimensional codes are mutually associated.
