Abstract:
A Type A-Type C cable and a cable chip (3) thereof. The cable chip (3) comprises a processing module (33), a first pull-up resistor (32), a first switching device (34), a chip CC1 pin (31), and a chip VBUS pin; the chip CC1 pin (31) is externally connected to a CC cable (4); the chip VBUS pin is connected to the VBUS pin (12) of an A plug (1); the chip CC1 pin (31) is connected to the processing module (33); the processing module (33) can supply power by means of the chip VBUS pin; after being connected with the first switching device (34) in series, the first end of the first pull-up resistor (32) is connected to the chip VBUS pin, a second end is connected to the chip CC1 pin (31), and the first switching device (34) is controlled by the processing module (33). The chip (3) can compatibly realize the circuit configuration of a standard Type A-Type C cable, and the circuit configuration of the Type A-Type C cable for USB PD fast charging.
