The present invention relates to a U-shape shock absorbing safety device for an automobile door by means of a press forming process method, and provides a safety structure for protecting a driver in the event of an unexpected collision with another automobile or object, by welding and coupling an edge support corresponding to an edge of an automobile door to the door and then welding and coupling a U-shape safety bar press-formed to the support, or by welding and coupling a central support corresponding to a flat central portion of an automobile door to the door and then welding and coupling a U-shape safety bar to the support. To this end, the present invention provides the safety structure for the automobile door, constituted in order that: edge supports bent to correspond to edges of both ends of the automobile door are provided to be welded and mutually coupled, wherein bent surfaces of the edge supports correspond to bent surfaces of the door and are welded and coupled thereto; an inwardly recessed portion is formed in a central surface of an attached surface, and the U-shape safety bar is welded and coupled to the attached surface so that an open surface of the U-shape safety bar faces in the inside direction of the door; and a plurality of safety corrugated parts for absorbing shock are formed on the bent surface and the attached surface.
